Real-life learning

There is something that i have been realizing lately.
It keep popping up throughout what i have been reading, hearing, thinking about.
Christianity isn't about church. It's not about praying a prayer. It is not about doing good things.
It is about a surrender of my will to His. Daily. Hourly. Every minute of every day.
Jesus talks about enduring. (Matthew 5)
how we will be blessed if we endure, that we will reign with Him in heaven if we endure. (2 Timothy 2)
So the thought comes to mind...
what are we enduring here in our nice, cushy, American pews?
Christ told us that we WILL have trials, life WILL be hard. But to be of good cheer because he has overcome this world that will give bring us so much.
But most of us are not enduring much or very frequently.
Where did Jesus say 'only fight the good fight for 1 hour and 36 minutes every Sunday'?
He didn't say that anywhere.
We should be actively striving to know Him more, every day and every hour.
Striving to shine his love and light around to everyone we see.
Don't be a christian on Sunday, be a follower of Christ everyday.
Jesus spent an entire chapter talking about how much He hates hypocrisy.
(hypocrite, by the way, is a Greek word that is translated 'actor')
Don't be an actor.
"Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap."
-Galatians 6:7
God sees right through to our hearts...
WHAT IS IN YOUR HEART??
